HUNGRY locals are bidding another farewell to a popular burger chain that returned to the market less than three years ago. Back Yard Burgers, which opened their Charlotte location in 2020 after their store closed down eight years earlier, has shutdown once again. A second North Carolina location, which was only open for two years, has also closed their kitchen. The burger-joint is an American franchise chain with almost 40 locations across the Southern and Midwestern U.S. In addition to its quick service, the casual dining spot is known for flame-grilled patties and hand-dipped milkshakes.
