A man who was part of the distribution of methamphetamines to Gaston and Mecklenburg counties will serve more than 12.5 years in federal prison. U.S. District Judge Frank D. Whitney sentenced Brandon Eugene Massey, 38, of Blacksburg, South Carolina, to 151 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, announced Dena J. King, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina. Whitney also imposed five years of supervised release following incarceration.
